FODDER ADAPTED TO HORSES’ NEEDS
We offer a wide range of dehydrated fodder such as alfalfa, hay, ryegrass and straw that meet your horses’ needs perfectly, regardless of their physical activity. What’s unique: Our fodder is dehydrated in a factory, which allows for more homogeneous drying and products that are stable over time with constant protein content. Using only cereals as a supplement to fodder is insufficient to cover all the needs required for equilibrium in horses, from the digestive, metabolic and psychological points of view. The best way to ensure consistent nutrient intakes that are suitable for each animal is by using a feed supplement in which all these ingredients are balanced to meet the animal’s needs. EffiFarm offers a completely natural, cut and dehydrated feed mix consisting of alfalfa, hay and grass straw fibers with added protein seeds or meal: soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower, peas, fababeans, and flax. Our solution is available in the form of bales and pellets.
FIBROUS ENERGY FEED FOR RACEHORSES
Feeding thoroughbred horses requires special expertise. Indeed, during training and horse races, horses’ muscles come under intense stress; the food ration must, therefore, provide them with all the nutrients essential to them. For optimal muscle development and performance, racehorses need a diet rich in energy that is readily available and balanced in amino acids and trace elements. EffiFarm has designed fibrous energy feeds for racehorses that meet the specific needs of this discipline perfectly.
HYGIENE
To preserve the respiratory tract of your horses and minimize the risk of allergies, EffiFarm offers you dust-free straw-based bedding. Our dust-free bedding is tested by numerous veterinary clinics and stud farms in Normandy. Their very high absorbent power allows you to keep horse stables healthy longer, allowing you to reduce how often you clean them and thus achieve savings. Our bedding can then be used as fertilizer. We market it in the form of pellets.
